Description

Protection for the college founded in the university of Oxford by Thomas [Wolsey,] cardinal priest of St. Cecilia, called "of York," papal legate de latere in England, and styled the College of Thomas Wolsey, cardinal of York, and for the dean, canons, doctors, masters, scholars and other persons both in the college and in other places thereto belonging for the time being, and for their goods, and exemption of them from all episcopal jurisdiction.
