Description

Faculty motu proprio to Thomas [Wolsey,] cardinal priest of St. Cecilia, called "of York," papal legate de latere in England, to suppress the Augustinian priory of St. Peter, Ipswich, and to found therein a college of secular clerks, appropriating thereto the revenues of the priory. Litterarum studia . . . Orvieto. Pridie Id. Maii, 5 Clement VII.
