Confirmation of the letters patent of Louis [XII.] king of the French, dated at Paris, 14 July, 1498, in which he bound himself to pay to Henry [VII.] the residue left unpaid by Charles VIII. his predecessor, of the sum of 745,000 crowns of gold, which the latter was bound to pay by the treaty of Étaples. Ad futuram rei memoriam. Illius vices . . . St. Peter's, Rome. Pridie Id. Jun., 8 Alexander VI.
