Confirmation of the letters patent of Louis [XII.] king of the French, dated at Paris, 14 July, 1498, in which he bound himself to pay to Henry [VII.] the residue left unpaid by Charles VIII. his predecessor, of the sum of 745,000 crowns of gold, which the latter was bound to pay by the treaty of Étaples.
