Request to [Richard II.] to take into his favour Hugh Ildeyrton, a monk of Chester, of whom the pope has made provision to the see of Derry. [Gratie divine . . .] St. Peter's, Rome. [5 Kal. Mar., 9 Boniface IX.]

Bulla missing. Document damaged at beginning and end; date supplied from M A Costello, De Annatis Hiberniae (Dundalk, 1909). Letters conservatory for this Hugh were issued by the pope, 14 Oct 1400: Cal Papal Letters, V, 290.
