Reply to letters of Edward [III.] informing him that the pope having obtained information concerning the preceptory of Scotland of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem has recalled the business to himself and has committed the receipt of the fruits of that preceptory to Henry de Sancto Trudone, preceptor of Avalterre in the duchy of Brabant, treasurer of Rhodes; and requesting the king to remove the arrest placed by him on certain moneys belonging to the prior and brethren of the said Hospital in England.
