Request to Edward [III.] to give full credence to what Simon cardinal priest of St. Sixtus, papal nuncio, shall say to him concerning his request to the pope for the appropriation of the parish church of Hemyngburgh to the prior and chapter of Durham, and if he still desire the union in question, to write again to the pope, but if it takes place, the number of persons in the church of Durham must be proportionately increased.
