Description

Exhortation to Edward [III.] to listen patiently to the account which Constantius, knight, secretary of Constantius, king of the Armenians, and envoy of him and of the barons and people of Armenia, will give of the oppressions inflicted upon the people of that realm by the infidels, and by making peace with Philip [IV.] to render himself able to succour them. Veniens nuper ... Avignon. 12 Kal. Feb., 5 Clement VI.
