Intimation to Edward [III.] that the pope is sending back to him Hugh de Neywilla, one of his envoys, to inform him of the point reached in the negotiations for peace between him and Philip [VI.], and exhortation to him to send other envoys to join thoseremaining, in order to try every way to make peace, the time for the negotiations having been extended for a year from Christmas next.
