Request to Edward [I.] to receive with favour William Testa, archdeacon of Arran, whom the pope has appointed collector in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland of tenths and the penny due to the Roman church, of the sums still owing according to an ordinance of Boniface VIII., of the goods of the late Geoffrey bishop of Parma, papal nuncio there, of indefinite bequests, of penalties promised in sundry contracts for the aid of the Holy Land, and of money arising from wills, vows and the redemption of vows or from any other cause due to the said church.
