Description

Commission to the bishop of Hereford to inquire into the alleged consanguinity in the fourth degree of John Giffardi, lord of Clifford, and Margaret de Novavilla, and if he find it not to be a fact, to grant them licence to marry, and if it be true, to dispense them from the impediment. Bulla with hemp string. [R. and Potthast, 22393.] Duplicate in SC 7/51/1, but the bulla is missing and only a fragment of hemp string remains.
