Order to the archbishop of Canterbury, the bishop of Norwich and John Mansell, treasurer of York and a papal chaplain, to absolve the king and queen of England and Edward and Edmund their sons from the oaths to observe certain statutes which they were constrained to take to the detriment of the royal power under colour of reforming the condition of the kingdom of England; which order, given to them by Alexander IV., has on account of his death remained unexecuted.
