Intimation to the king of England that the pope has not assented to the prayer of the king's envoys to remove the word postulatio from the letters whereby he restored the prior and convent of the church of Winchester to elect or postulate together with those who have a share in the election, but has directed O. cardinal deacon of St. Nicholas in Carcere Tulliano, papal legate, to take care that no person suspected by the king be provided to that church.
