Order to archbishops and bishops in whose dioceses are situated churches and houses of the Knighthood of the Temple, that they shall not henceforth promulgate sentences of excommunication and interdict against the men of the Knights Templars, and those who grind in their mills or cook in their bakehouses and who have any dealings with them, for by so doing they observe the letter only of the privileges of that order and in a way excommunicate the brothers themselves.
