Description

Bills of complaint brought before Henry le Scrope, Governor of Calais, and his colleagues, appointed justices to hear appeals from the Mayor and Aldermen; with a roll of the grievances of the ancient burgesses of Calais against the said Mayor and Aldermen. Complainants:-Adam Lonnesdale; Thomas de Wythel; Thomas Longspie; Nicolas Wodhull, merchant of Salisbury; John Payebren and Peter Denys; Avice Baictryee; John son and heir of Nicholas Shirlok; John Philippot; Thomas del More; Richard de Stanhope; Agnes de Colton; John Morterman; John Maynok.
