Miscellaneous correspondence and papers of the Levant Company: letter of resignation from Thomas Coke, Galata, dated 3 June 1674; memorandum of a resolution by the General Court of the Levant Company concerning the presentation of an ambassador's credentials, 16 Apr 1675; bills and receipts of the treasurer, 1743; letter from the Admiralty, concerning the delay in sailing of HMS Leverpool, 10 Sept 1743; correspondence from the secretary of state concerning the company's petition against the seizure of Turkish goods by privateers, 1747; correspondence from Peter Tooke, treasurer at Constantinople, concerning the payment of salaries and accounts, 1784 and bonds of William Caralet and Robert Stevenson, sureties for Isaac Morier to be treasurer at Smyrna, 11 Sept 1789
