Description

444 Aerial (including oblique) and ground photographs annotated with details of contemporary location, height of aircraft (for aerial shots), time, date and photograph number. Locations covered are now to be found in Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq and Iran.

Photographs were by taken by staff in the 16th Wing Palestine (Brigade) (Nos 1 - 29; 169 - 193 ), 31st Wing Mesopotamia (Nos 341 - 444), 16th Wing Salonica (Nos 30 - 168; 194 - 340 ).

Photographs have been extracted from AIR 1/2384/226/18/2 A-C. An index listing the photographs remains in the parent document.
