Correspondence, Original - Secretary of State: Correspondence received from 'offices' (Government departments and other organisations) and individuals on subjects concerning British Honduras. Correspondents and subjects are as follows: Offices:

  • Foreign Office (navigation of the River Hondo, complaint of F A Rurmals against the Honduras Government, Swan Island and the ill-treatment of British subjects, telegraph convention with Mexico, Guatemalan export duty, British subjects on Swan Island, exchange of territory with the United States of America, alleged violation of Guatemalan territory, Mr Chambers claim against the Honduras Government, affairs at Swan Island, Consul of Honduras at Belize, Honduras Consul at Belize, appointment of L E Cuevas as Consul at Honduras, fines on British vessels, Guatemalan boundary, inspection of Colonial Office records by Miss Mary Williams of the United States for educational purposes, establishment of a Court of Superior Jurisdiction at Payo Obispo);
