Description

Correspondence, Original - Secretary of State: Correspondence from 'Offices' (Government departments and other organisations) and from Individuals on matters relating to British Honduras. Correspondents and subjects are as follows: Offices:

  • Foreign Office (case of ex-President of Honduras Señor Bonilla, Honduras new navigation laws, extradition of Isidoro V Perez, telegraphic communication with Mexico and convention, money order agreement with Mexico, navigation of Hondo River, visit of a Mexican gunboat to an unauthorised port, co-operation of British Honduras and Guatemalan Police, claim of J Chambers against Honduras, expedition against Honduras, complaint of the Master of SS Dordogne, repatriation of Mr and Mrs Muller to England);
  • Home Office (use of firearms against escaping prisoners, expulsion of undesirable aliens);
  • India Office (Sikhs for Police Force);
  • Medical Advisers (medical report of C L Eyles);
  • Board of Trade (wireless telegraphy, lighting of coast);
