Correspondence, Original - Secretary of State: Correspondence received from 'offices' (Government Departments and other organisations) and Individuals on subjects concerning British Honduras. Correspondents and subjects are as follows: Offices:

  • Crown Agents (Stann Creek and Punta Gorda Railways, Engineer W Boyd, railway proposals, consulting engineer and dredger engineer, report on yellow fever by Professor Boyce, security of Bank of British Honduras);
  • Council Office (appeal case of George D Emery Company versus Wells, the King versus Alexander Porter);
  • Foreign Office (the communication with Mexico, boundary between Guatemala and British Honduras, telecommunication with Mexico and the United States of America, official visit of President of Mexico to Yucatan, proposed appointment of a Vice Consul at Puerto Barrios, navigation of the Hondo River, claim of T B Shaw against Honduran Government, sanitary condition of the Panama canal zone, consular officer at La Ceiba, consular officer for Bay Islands, development of Peten at Guatemala, landing of Mexicans in search of escaped prisoner, quarantine restrictions in Louisiana, dredging of the Hondo River, notification of quarantine diseases, telecommunication convention between Mexico and British Honduras, federal quarantine stations in southern ports of the United States, violation of British Honduras territory by Mexican soldiers, British Honduras, yellow fever reports from Bogota);
