Description

Correspondence, Original - Secretary of State: Correspondence from Foreign Office, Home Office, War Office and 'Miscellaneous Offices' (Government departments and other organisations) and from individuals on matters relating to British Honduras. Correspondents and subjects are as follows: Offices:

  • Foreign Office (Icaiche and Santa Cruz Indians, Livingstone-Belize telegraph cable, seizure of the Laura Louise, case of Dr W G Mortimer who treated the injured men on board the Liberator, railway to the province of Peten, Mexican customs boat, navigation rights in Mexican and British Honduras waters, Mexican boundary, money order convention with the United States of America, navigation of territorial waters, Nicaraguan Canal Commission, remission of excise fine imposed on Messrs Winzerling Brothers, customs decree Mexico, postal convention with Guatemala);
