Description

4 photographs and 15 negatives extracted from ADM 199/1806 part 2 showing:

(1-4b) The wreck of HMS Gypsy in about 1940 prior to salvage (relating to ADM 199/1806 part 1 pp 125-228).

(5-18b) Damage done to the London and North Eastern Railway pier at Harwich and SV Lady Southborough after a collison 11 November 1943 (relating to ADM 199/1806 part 1 pp 383-388).

Items 2a; 3a;, 4a; 7a; 8a; 9a; 10a; 11a; 12a; 13a; 14a; 15a; 16a; 17a; and 18a are positive prints produced from the original negatives 4 November 1987. Photographs 16 cm x 21 cm; negatives between 12 cm x 16 cm and 6 cm x 6 cm.
