3 photographs, joined and mounted on paper, extracted from ADM 1/7109 (file S157) showing a panoramic view of Ichang on the Yangtse River, China, with reference notes on the paper mounting relating to population and places damaged by rioters in September 1891. Annotated on the dorse: '[Enc]losure No 2 in China Letter 254'. The photograph was taken by the Chief Engine Room Artificer of the Reserve Vessel HMS Esk (A H Anson, Commander) in April 1892.
