Edward Watson. Dismissal by Consul John Falconar from the post of Vice-Consul at Leghorn. Correspondence, etc.
Copies. 10 docts. Presented by Walter Edwin Peck, esq., D. Phil., in October 1932. Of the ten documents comprising this collection seven are numbered, being perhaps intended as annexures to a petition. Other copies are to be found among the Foreign Office's Tuscan correspondence of the year 1818, viz. in F.O.79/31 and 32 and F.O.170/9. An undated petition from Watson to the Foreign Office, of 1821, is bound up at the end of F.O.79/37.
