French Council of War held at Paris (to consider further action, in the Baltic, against Russia). Proceedings, with letter from Général de Division (later Maréchal) Niel (Bomarsund, 1 September 1854)

Transcript. 1 vol. This document, copied from papers lent by the Empress Eugénie to Field-Marshal Sir Lintorn Simmons, G.C.B., G.C.M.G. (in 1878?), was handed over by Lady Nugent, widow of Col. Sir Charles Nugent, to the Institution of Royal Engineersand presented by the last-named in September 1927.
