Description

Records of actions which were ended by arbitration or agreement, relating mainly to disputes arising from partnerships and the administration of estates.

The series includes bonds to abide by decisions of arbitrators, awards of arbitrators, and agreements by opposing parties to submit their differences to arbitration. Such awards and agreements were normally made orders of the court and were entered in the entry books of decrees and orders.
