Description

The 'appeal' petitions comprise appeals against unenrolled decrees and orders from 1774 to 1869.

The 'ordinary' petitions, 1834-1875, relate mainly to the administration of estates, such as applications for the payment out of monies held in court, and petitions concerning the winding-up of companies.

The 'ordinary' petitions are arranged alphabetically within each term, and listed chronologically according to the date of filing, which is generally subsequent to the date of the order on the petition.
