Also included are accounts of official liquidators in company winding-up proceedings under the Companies Acts of 1862 and 1867.
The series is divided into two. Both are arranged alphabetically by the title of the cause or matter.

In rendering accounts to the court, receivers and liquidators were required to submit them in duplicate. After certification by the chief clerk, one copy was deposited in the Record and Writ Clerks' Office, while the other remained in the court for return to the solicitor concerned, if requested.
