This series includes:

  • entry books relating to briefs under the Collection of Charity Money Act 1705;
  • various volumes concerning Chancery offices, petitions, orders, fees and returns;
  • a number of seventeenth- to nineteenth-century precedent books of Chancery registrars;
  • a similar volume for 1742-1791 of the Rolls Court Office, compiled by the secretary to the master of the rolls;
  • a receipt book for fees from the Enrolment Office, 1782-1916;
  • a photograph album of Report Office clerks, 1855-1917;
  • and material arising from Chancery commissions of inquiry, 1733-1735.
