Description

Cause: Yorke v Earl of Hardwicke (1880 Y9). Inventory of family and other portraits, plate, pictures, books, engravings, china and other chattel effects [at Wimpole Hall, CAMBRIDGESHIRE.], acquired by Trustees of Earl of Hardwicke's Estate Act 1881; taken by James Henry Brooke Christie. Deposited 30 June 1881 by plaintiff Hon. Albert Edward Yorke (Viscount Royston), by William George Craven, his next friend.
