Description

Cause: (Re Joint Stock Companies Winding-Up Acts 1848 and 1849 and) Re North of England Banking Company (Part 10 of 20). Deeds and papers monthly deposited with Bank by its debtors by way of security Deposited [2 March 1877] by John Henderson, surviving Official Manager of the Company.

  • (29) L T Wang. Statement of average and other papers relating to ship MAY QUEEN [of Sunderland, County DURHAM]. 1847.
  • (30) Ralph Hutchinson. Deeds relating to ship ROSEBUD of Sunderland, County DURHAM papers relating to affairs of Hutchinson, apparently of Durham Branch of North England Bank; with other papers stated to concern Sunderland Branch, but including policies of insurance in respect of Bank’s premises in Newcastle on Tyne and elsewhere. 1838-1847.
  • (31) Mortgages of Hilda and Manor Collieries. Papers relating to Hilda in Heworth [County DURHAM], and Manor, in Wallsend [NORTHUMBERLAND], Collieries. 1848-1852.

  • (38) James Pattison and William Alderson. Papers relating to debt of Pattison and Alderson, partners in quarries at Ashington in Bothal, NORTHUMBERLAND 1839-1848.
  • (39) Robert Wall Ogilvie. Deed of settlement on marriage of Ogilvie (of Newcastle on Tyne, merchant) to Miss Eliza Louisa Dixson.
