Probates of wills of Edward Howell (1746) and Edward Howell Shepherd (1768); administrations with will annexed of Edward Shepherd (1761 and 1765); administrations of Caroline Louise Howell Shepherd (1790) and Elizabeth Jane Bevan formerly Booth (1812); copy wills of Elizabeth Shepherd, widow (1761), Charlotte Louisa Croft (1830) and Frances Mercer Croft (1832). Plans [nowMFC 1/83]. Patent (1740) granting to Sir Nathaniel Curzon Market in Great Brook Field in the new parish of St George, Hanover Sq, MIDDLESEX. [in original case covered with red and gilt leather, see J 90/852]. Deposited 27 August 1856 by H.P. Bird, defendant with Smyth Churchill and Mary his wife, at the suit of Augustus Howell.
