Cause: Wollaston v Brett Articles of agreement (with related papers) (i) between Jacob Brett of Hanover Square, MIDDLESEX, John Watkins Brett of same [telegraph engineer], James Christie Bell of New York, USA. and Edward Willmer and David Smith, newspaper proprietors, of Liverpool, LANCASHIRE for exploiting Jacob Brett patent for improvements in printing communications by electric telegraph and (ii) between Jacob and John Watkins Brett for securing loan by latter on former's interest in said patent, in patent for invention of anti-corrosive iron and bitumen pipes and in certain pictures by Debuffe and museum models; with memorandum of agreement of Jacob Brett with Charlton James Wollaston concerning submarine telegraph between France and England. Deposited 28 March 1854 by defendant J.W. Brett.
