Cause: Steed v Oliver Documents (S) deposited [6 November 1845] by defendant William Bentley:- Copy will of William Penn, brewer, of Baldock (1827); title deeds of property in Baldock and Wyllian, HERTS, and Clifton, BEDFORDSHIRE. (referring also to property in Hertford, Aspenden, Bygrave, Clothall, Weston, Norton and Ashwell, HERTS, and Wix, ESSEX, including probates of wills of John Samm (1731) and Elizabeth Samm, widow, (1734), both of Hitchin, HERTS, and of William Noy (1736), Thomas Moss (1753), Jabez Moss the younger (1753), Jabez Moss (1756), John Moss (1766), Mary Moss, widow, (1766), Susannah Pate, widow (1782), Thomas Charles (1788), William Penn (1793) and Sarah Penn, widow, (1812), all of Baldock.
