Cause: Attorney General v Griffith Conveyance by John Bedowes of lands in Presteign, RADNORSHIRE, to feoffees in trust to provide for the daily ringing of a bell in the church steeple there and to maintain a grammar school there. Deposited 9 September 1741 in a cause brought by the Attorney General at the relation of Edward Harley, Earl of Oxford, against Rev Humphrey Griffith.
