Title deeds, printed particulars of sale and other papers relating to property of Thomas Hughes formerly Howell of [Penywain], Glasbury, RADNORSHIRE, deceased, in Oswestry, SHROPSHIRE, Llandinam, MONTGOMERYSHIRE, Brislington, SOMERSET. (rectory), Abernant and Llanddeusant, CARMARTHENSHIRE, Cantref, Llanymis and Aberllynfi, BRECKNOCKSHIRE, Glasbury, Bryngwyn, Llanbedr Painscastle, Lowes, Clyro, Llanstephan, Aberedw and Llandewifaeh, RADNORSHIRE, Church Stanton (manor), Upottery, DEVON, Iron Acton, GLOUCESTERSHIRE, and Bristol. Copy wills of Rev John Hughes of Glasbury (1809) and Thomas Ellidge of Bullingham, HEREFORDSHIRE. (1798). Deposited by defendant, William Higgins, solicitor, of Hay. Papers in Chancery matter of Thomas Hughes, a supposed lunatic (1848), Exchequer (Assizes) suit Milwall v Hughes (1851), and Queen's Bench suit Surwin v Hughes (1848). Printed handbills of a travelling circus. White's Roman Amphitheatre from Astley's London (1846). Copy of royal licence to Thomas Howell to take name and arms of Hughes (1816). Verses, recipes etc.
