Assignment by John Townesende, of city of Lichfield, in the county of the city of Lichfield, labourer, for £9-12-0, to Thomas Whateley, of the city of Lichfield, yeoman, of a lease granted by letters patent, under seal of Court of Exchequer, 25 November 23 Elizabeth, to Simon Riddull, of city of Lichfield, gent., of water mill called Derneford Mill, parish of St. Michael, in city of Lichfield, and 10 a. land in Whyrley, co. Staffs., late of chantry of St. John Hardwicke, city of Lichfield, 21 years, 26s. 8d. p.a. for the mill and 4s. p. a. for the 10 a. A fourth part of interest descended to Townesende.
