Description

Composition by William, Bishop of London, in a dispute between John Deny, otherwise Salesbury, Precentor of the Cathedral Church of London, and possessor of the parish church of Storteford, diocese of London, annexed to the same, and Geoffrey Medne, rector of the parish church of Farnham, same diocese, on tithes of 3 a. land called Comon Down, and other lands. Dated in the Bishop's Palace in London. Confirmation of the same by the Dean and Chapter of St. Pauls, London, 7 March 1427/8. 2 seals.
