Henry VIII by letters patent under Great Seal, 2 September 38 Henry VIII granted to John Duke of Northumberland, Earl of Warwick, Viscount Lisley, K.G., Earl Marshal of England, Great Master of King's Household and Guardian General ib theNorthern Parts, office of Constable of the castle of Beawmarres and Captain of the town of Beawmarres, in North Wales, for life, 40 marks p.a., in reversion after death of Richard Buckeley. Regrant. Tested by Richard Sakevyle kt. Great Seal of Court of Augmentations. Note of enrolment before Thomas Tyndale, Deputy Auditor.
