Letters patent. The Prior and Convent of Fremond in Normandy, 13 Richard II, by charter, without royal licence, granted to John Luscote, Prior of the Charterhouse nigh London, and the Convent, the alien Priory of Bondeby, diocese of Lincoln, with all advowsons etc., these in King's hands on account of war with France, which were committed by letters patent to Walter Malet, clerk, at farm, from 1 June 5 Richard II, during the war, 12 marks p.a., Later by other letters patent, by name of Rectory of Bondeby, committed to Robert Hastynges, from Michaelmas 23 Richard II, for duration of war, 12 marks p.a. At request of Prior and Convent of Carthusians, of Bella Valle, co. Notts., grant of premises to them, 12 marks p.a.. Great seal. Endorsement that this document was seen in the Royal Visitation, 1536.
