Letters patent inspecting enrolment of a decree by Chancellor and Council of Court of Augmentations, Michaelmas term, 20 October 31 Henry VIII, on indenture brought in by Thomas Arundell kt., under seal of Convent of Shafton, between Elizabeth Zowche, Abbess of Shafton, co. Dorset, and the Convent, leasing to Thomas Arundell kt., site of manor of Tyssebury, co. Wilts., and all lands belonging, advowson of church of Tyssebury, capital messuage of manor of Barton, co. Dorset, with houses etc and a water mill in p. of St. Rumbold, Shafton, called Frenchemyll, pasture in manors of Berwyke and Dounehed, co. Wilts., Hanleigh, Tarrante and Rncombe, co. Dorset, £44-19-0, 5 February 29 Henry VIII. Indenture allowed. Tested Richard Ryche Seal of Court of Augmentations.
