Witnesses, dated at Rouen, 1156 ; (b) Henry II, to same,Witnesses, dated at Rouen ; (c) Richard to same. Witnesses, dated at Westminster, 15 November 1 Richard I ; (d) Letters patent of Richard I to same. Tested by Earl William de Maundevill, at Codington, 13 September ; (e) Letters patent of Henry II to same. Tested by Thomas, Chancellor, at Northampton ; and confirming the same. Witnesses, dated at Kenillwurth, 10 December 51 Henry III(cf. C. Ch.R., II, pp. 63-66) ; and confirming the same. Witnesses, dated at Lychefeld, 1 January 1 Edward I (the Charter Roll for 1 Edward I is missing at transfer) ; (2) Charter of Edward III to same. Witnesses, dated at manor of Wodestok, 5 August 47 Edward III (cf. C.CH.R. V, p. 228) ; (3) Letters patent of Richard II to same. Tested at Westminster, 16 February 3 Richard II (cf. C.P.R., 1377-1381, p. 435) confirming all the above. Tested at Westminster, 14 March 11 Richard II (cf. C.P.R., 1385-1389, p. 424). Great seal.
