Indenture of Assignment.
(1) Henry Morgan, of Moddlescome, Carmarthenshire, gent., and (2) William Parry, of London, esq., and Katherine Heywode, widow, Queen, by indenture, under seal of Duchy of Lancaster, with Robert Christmas gent., 30 November 8 Elizabeth, for 200 marks as fine, leased the rectory of these churches in Wales called Llanelly, Llandevaykocke and Penbray, Carmarthenshire, advowsons excepted, late College of Newework at Leicester, 21 years, £104 p.a. Christmas, by indenture, 20 October 9 Elizabeth, for £1,000 assigned to Morgan. Morgan leased the fourth part of the same to William Lloid gent., £10 p.a. Now Morgan, for £240 assigns the said fourth part. Tag; signature: Harry Morgan.
