Indenture of Sale. (1) Thomas Seymour, of Edyngton, co. Wilts., kt., and (2)Virgyll Pleydell, of Colyshull, co. Berks., gent. King, by letters patent under great seal of England, 18 June 33 Henry VIII, for £2,693-2-11, paid to Court of Augmentations, sold to Seymour, inter alia, close in Water Eton, p. of Eysy, co. Wilts. late monastery of Cirencester, co. Glouc., 14s. p.a.; also advowson of Eysy. Sale for £140 of close called Jonesleas, in Water Eton, tithes of chapel of Water Eton. Seal ; signature : Vyrgyll Pleydell.
