King, by letters patent under great seal of England, 18 June 33 Henry VIII, for £2,693-2-11, paid to Court of Augmentations, sold to Seymour, inter alia, close in Water Eton, p. of Eysy, co. Wilts. late monastery of Cirencester, co. Glouc., 14s. p.a.; also advowson of Eysy. Sale for £140 of close called Jonesleas, in Water Eton, tithes of chapel of Water Eton. Seal ; signature : Vyrgyll Pleydell.
