Description

Indenture of Sale. (1) Sir Thomas Seymer kt., and (2) Richard Plotte, yeoman. King, by letters patent under great seal of England, 18 June 33 Henry VIII, granted Seymer, manor of Petwyke etc., co. Berks., late monastery of Ambresbury, otherwise Amesbury,co. Wilts., with houses etc. in Petwyke and West Challowe, co. Berks. Seymer for £604 sells the premises to Plotte. Tag ; signature : Ryc. Plott.
