Indenture of Lease. (1) Henry VIII, and (2) Anthony Denny esq. Lease of advice of Court of Augmentations, of grange called Waltham Grange, in Waltham, co. Essex, late monastery of Waltham Holy Cross, and lands etc. belonging, except a forge and a stable.The house called the Tyke House, nigh Strutehillis, near Hony Lane, field called Cobbe felde, 280 a., field called Shepecotefeld, 144 a., field called Warden, 47 a., field called Pulwell, 45 a., field called Le Perreyfeld, 30 a., field called Northfeld, 112 a., field called Le Fortie Acres, 53 a, field called Estfeld, 200 a., 3 fields called Strutehillis, 122 a., pasture called Northleace, 23 a., croft of land next Northmeadgate, 3 a., pasture called Le Curtell, 10 a., tenement and 2 crofts of land and pasture at le Graunge, next the stone bridge, meadow called Waremede, 38 a., 4 a, meadow in common pasture called Sherman meade, 8 a. meadow in the common pasture called Horsegrasse, 20 a. meadow in the meadow called Coumede, 10 a. meadow parcel of 20 a. in the common meadow called Edmondsey, meadow called Nasingmershe, also the rectory of Waltham Holy Cross etc., 5s. p.a. from rectory of Wormeley for synodals and procurations, 7s. p.a. from vicarage and church of Eppynge for the like, excepting certain tithes, parcel of the rectory of Waltham, and the advowson of parish church of Waltham. Also manor of Nasynge, otherwise Nasyngbury, co. Essex, reserving the advowson of the vicarage of parish church of Nasunge, parcel of land in Nasynge, 21 years, £127-10-6, £72-2-4, £23-10-2, £31-18-6 p.a. Tag.
