Indenture of Sale.

(1) Henry VIII, and Sir Thomas Seymour kt.

(2). Sale by Seymour of site and demesne lands of late monastery of Cogyshall, otherwise Coxhall, co. Essex, manor of Cogyshall, and rectory, manors of Tolleshunte maior and Kewtonhall, co. Essex marsh and land called Coggeshale hey marshe, and other marshes etc. in the Isle of Willetts, p. of Moche Wakerynge and Lytle Wakerynge, co. Essex, farms or granges in co. Essex called Chidingeswell and Tuttwyke, in pp. of Inworth, Messinge, Braxsted and Tolleshunte, co. Essex, annuity of £10 out of a fulling mill etc. appertaining to a chantry founded in the church of Moche Badowe, co. Essex, granges called Hobfolde graunge and Holme graunge, co. Essex, lands etc. called Busshegatehowse and Browssers, otherwise Bourchers, which King, by letters patent under great seal of England, 23 March 29 Henry VIII, gave Seymour and for £2,693-2-11 paid to Court of Augmentations, King sells Seymour site of late monastery of Edyngton co. Wilts. etc. and close called Cunnyngard, in Edyngton, orchard 10½ a. ½ r., half a wood, 389 a. of arable land, 59½ a. pasture, 47 a. meadow, pasture for 600 sheepin Edyngton and in Tynhed, tithes of parsonage of Edyngton.

Also manors of Edyngton, Tynhed, Beynton, Imber, otherwise Immer, and Estrop, pasture in Aishton called Leshamlese, meadow in Aishton called Aishtonmeade, closes in Beynton called Westhaddunhyll, Brodecrofte, Leshamlese and Stert, tofts, 3½a. land and ½ a. meadow in Beynton, toft 4 a. land, ½ a. meadow in Beynton, toft 2 a. land in Beynton, messuages etc. in Orston St. George, otherwise Orcheston St. George, and Elston, co. Wi.ts., pasture in Longedowne and Brawthorne, co. Wilts., lands etc. in Esthropp, Westhropp and Highworth, co. Wilts., called Sharpeland, messuage and half a yard of land in Esthrop, close with a sheep house and 7 yards of land in Esthrop called Hungerford, 14 a. meadow with pasture of 22 beef and 22 other beef called cart beef, and pasture of 400 wether sheep of 2 years old in Estrop, sheep house with a toft and close in p. of Highworthe called Fresshdeane, otherwise Ferchesshdeane, co. Wilts., messuage etc. in Hankerton, otherwise Haukerton, co. Wilts., late monastery of Braddenstok. co. Wilts. Close in Water Eton, of Eysy, and lands belonging, late monastery of Cyrencestre, otherwise Syrencestre, co. Glouc.

Also manors of Buscheton, otherwise Bussheton, co. Wilts., late monastery of St. Swithins next Wynchester, Hampshire. Messuages etc. in manor of Wolstan, otherwise Wolfrishton, otherwise Wolfrysheston, co. Berks., late monastery of King's Beaulyew, otherwise Bellus locus Regis, co. Southt. late monastery of St. Swithins.

Also lordship of Inglesham, co. Berks. rectory of Inglesham, co. Berks. and tithes, water mill in Nether Inglesham, toft and a yardland, 2 messuages and half a yardland called Hyllys.
