Description

Transcript of Indenture of Agreement.

(1) Sir Reginald Bray, Knight of King's Body and Chancellor of Duchy of Lancaster, and

(2) Sir John Norbury kt. Marriage agreement, Edmund Bray, cousin of Sir Reginald Bray, that is son of John, his brother, and Jane Halewell, daughter and heir apparent of Richard Halewell, cousin and heir apparent of Sir John Norbury, that is daughter of Anne, his daughter.

Norbury to make an estate to William, Bishop of Lincoln, William Hody kt., Chief Baron of Exchequer, Henry Willoughby kt., William Uvedale kt., Richard Curson, John Browne, Thomas Grenefeld, John Austen esqs., John Gilberd and Thomas Gylberd, of the manors of Griffe and Wellesbourne, co. Warw., manor of Belbroughton, with advowson thereof, co. Worcs., manor of Stoke Dabernon, Frencheham, Estwike and Aldebury, with their advowsons, co. Surr., advowson of Teytendrewe, co. Devon, moiety of advowsons of Priory of Erbury and house of Friars in town of Warwick, reversion of manor of Shipton Union Charwell, Co. Oxford, with advowson thereof, manor of Chaloughton, Hampshire, to use of Norbury and Dame Jane, his wife, for their lives, or to the use of Edmund Bray and Jane Halewell, Jane to have £10 p.a. out of manor of Chaloughton for life.
