(1) William, Earl of Wiltshire, Marquis of Winchester and Lord Treasurer of England, and (2) Arthur Harrys, of London, gent., one of the sons of William Harrys, late of Southemynster, co. Essex, and exor of his Will. William, Bishop of Bath and Wells, by indenture, 23 November 33 Henry VIII, leased to Raufe Pylkyngton, citizen and haberdasher of London, hall called Friers Hall, in precincts of late monastery of the Mynors without Algate, London, 99 years ; confirmed by Dean and Chapter of Wells, 1 December 1541, 33 Henry VIII. Pylkyngton, by indenture 7 October 3 Edward VI, assigned lease to William Harrys, and by indenture, 25 February 3 & 4 Philip and Mary, a chamber etc. annexed to Arthur Harrys. Now for £80 paid by Marquis of Winchester, assignment of premises. Seal ; signature : Arthur Harrys. 2 skins.
