Indenture of Sale. (1) Edward, Duke of Somerset, and (2) Dame Katheryn Dormer, late wife of Sir Michael Dormer, kt., citizen and alderman of city of London, Thomas Dormer, son and heir of Sir Michael Dormer, and John and Ambrose Dormer, younger sons of Sir Michael Dormer, and (3) Alexander Seymer, the younger. Sale by (2) to (3) of manor of Bourton, near Bampton, co. Oxf., and 4 pastures therein lying together called Landeleys, the Rough, Blacke pytte and Gayscoynes, mead called Hunte meade etc. in Bourton, messuage etc. in Clanveld, co. Oxf., messuage etc. in Lewe, p. of Bampton, messuage etc. in Fylkyns, co. Oxf., tenement in Rysyngton, co. Oxf., except manor of Wendylbury, co. Oxf., and certain lands in Bryll, co. Bucks., Shypton and Abyngdon, co. Berks., manor of Marchehaddon and Brygenorton. 6 seals ; signatures : John Dormer, Alexander Seymer, the younger.
