Indenture of Sale. (1) Edward, Earl of Hertford, and (2) Anne Corbett, widow. King, by indenture, sealed with great seal of Court of Augmentations, 6 October 28 Henry VIII, leased to John Grenefeld, Sergeant at Arms, site and house of late Priory of Tywardreth, co. Cornwall, with houses etc. in site, 88 a. arable land, 7 a. meadow, 20 a. waste, called Corrogett in Tywardreth, grange of Tyennant, p. of Fowey, and 120 a. arable land, 40 a. waste ground, except great trees, 21 years, for site etc. £4-16-0 and for grange £4-13-4, p.a. By letters patent, 27 July 34 Henry VIII, King sold reversion to Earl for £402-5-7. Earl for £576-4-6 sells reversion. Seal ; signature : Anne Corbett.
